At ChinaTour, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines how cancellations and refunds are handled for tour bookings made through our platform.

Payment Options

Cancellation Timeline

Notice Period Refund Eligibility
Within 14 days of booking Full refund
More than 14 days before tour start Free change of travel dates or switch to another tour product. Cancellation incurs a deduction of £50 from the full refund.
15–30 days before tour start Free change of travel dates or switch to another tour product. Cancellation incurs a 50% refund only.
Less than 15 days before tour start Cancellations made within 15 days prior to the tour commencement are non-refundable. For itinerary modifications, please contact our customer service team. Any changes will be subject to evaluation based on the specific circumstances and the operational capacity of the destination.

How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, you have two options:

Modify Your Booking

You can update the details of your ChinaTour booking — including traveller information, special requests, or contact details — at any time before your tour’s starting date.

To make changes, simply log in to your account and select the booking you wish to modify.

Note: Changes made within 14 days of the tour start may be subject to availability and approval.

Refund Processing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 7–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund is approved.
