The famous “Huashan Sword Debate,” often referenced in Jin Yong’s martial arts novels, depicts heroes competing atop these perilous ridges, adding a mythical aura to this majestic mountain.

Day 4 – Xi’an City Highlights & Tang Dynasty Cultural Experience

Visit the Ancient City Wall of Xi’an, one of the largest and best‑preserved ancient city fortifications in China.
The existing structure dates back to the Ming Dynasty, standing 12 meters high and 12–14 meters wide at the top, forming a rectangular perimeter of 13.74 km.
The wall includes a complete military defense system featuring drawbridges, a moat, gate towers, arrow towers, corner towers, battlements, and parapets.
Lunch: Chang’an Grand Dumpling Banquet.
Afternoon:
Head to the Bell & Drum Tower Square in the city center, then explore the famous Muslim Quarter (approx. 40 minutes).
This lively food street, paved with bluestone and lined with Ming‑ and Qing‑style buildings, has over a thousand years of history and offers more than 300 types of local snacks.
Continue to the ancient imperial temple Da Ci’en Temple (approx. 1 hour; optional: climb the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda for 25 RMB/person).
