Afternoon:

We then continue to China’s very own “Bermuda Triangle” — Bamei — to visit the filming location of Candle in the Tomb, the remarkable Moshi Park. According to local legend, when Queen Zhuma, the wife of King Gesar, once visited this land where the great king fought his battles, she accidentally dropped a silk scarf. It fell onto the earth and transformed into the Kama River, nourishing the stone forest and the people who live here.

The stone forest contains calcium-rich formations that change colour with humidity: light grey or pale blue during dry seasons, and deep black when the air is moist — earning it the name “the colour-changing stone forest.”

Bamei Stone Forest is China's only plateau stone forest landscape, an impressive and unique geological park called Moshi Park (Stone Forest). Located at Garze Qiang, Sichuan Province of China
